On "Walking in the Footsteps of Renoir and Victor Hugo" you will see the actual cottage that Renoir painted and where Victor Hugo picnicked regularly.
This was taken in a modern-day situation with people in the same position as when Renoir painted back in 1883.

You will learn about our rich history that dates back beyond Neolithic times, as well as local stories, folklore, the natural gemstones underfoot and taking in nature along the way.

This stunning walk takes in Renoir’s stay in the Summer of 1883 and the creator of "Les Miserables"; Victor Hugo’s frequent visits to Moulin Huet. You will also see the very same cottage that Renoir painted in his famous masterpiece and where Hugo picnicked (now privately owned by Korinne’s parents). We stop for refreshments (Not included).
Ability: Moderate (Good walking boots recommended).
A half-day Coach Tour around Guernsey showing you the lesser-known treasures that we have here. You will learn about the rich history that dates back beyond Neolithic times, as well as local stories, folklore, and taking in nature along the way.
We will stop for afternoon tea (not included, so you have a choice in what you have).
